 Computer is an electronic device. It can store or processed data in the memory. There are two types of memory: RAM   (Random Access Memory) ROM   (Read Only Memory) RAM  :                        RAM is a memory which stores data as it is possible , it is connected to any power supply is called volatile memory. Example:                 It's best example is "main memory" . ROM:                        ROM is a memory which stores data as possible as it is not connected to any power supply. Example:                 It's best example is USB flash drive, memory card, hard disk, floppy disk etc.
